Learning across communities
Nyangatjatjara College operates across several campuses located within the Anangu communities of Yulara, Imanpa and Kaltukatjara. Each campus provides learning spaces designed to support students in both classroom learning and practical programs.
Yulara Secondary
A central learning hub for secondary students.
Yulara Secondary Campus (YSC) caters for students aged 12–17 who are transported to the campus by bus each day.
The campus includes three main classrooms, a canteen with a commercial kitchen, a basketball court, garden areas, and an Arts Studio (to be replaced). Facilities also include two boarding houses, grounds and maintenance facilities, vehicles, the College administration centre, and staff and contractor housing.
Currently 23 secondary students are enrolled. Over the next five years the College aims to grow this cohort and expand programs that support
job pathways.
Imanpa Primary
A welcoming environment for younger learners.
Imanpa Primary Campus (IPC) is located separately from the secondary campus and provides a dedicated learning space for primary-aged students.
The campus includes two main classrooms, a common room, a staffroom, a shade structure and basketball court, and a newly established shower and toilet block.
On average, 15–20 students are enrolled.
Imanpa Secondary
Reactivating learning opportunities for secondary students.
Imanpa Secondary Campus (ISC) has been mostly dormant over the past two years, with secondary students attending the Primary School Campus during this time.
The campus includes two classrooms, storage areas and a kitchen. In 2025 the campus was reactivated and now hosts programs including Garden and Nutrition and Driver Education and Training, which have seen strong engagement.
Currently two secondary students are enrolled, with plans to grow the cohort and expand into adult education and job pathway programs.
Kaltukatjara Primary
Supporting early learning in the Docker River community.
Kaltukatjara Primary School (KPS), also known as the Docker River Campus, includes three main classrooms, a library, staffroom, kitchenette and kitchen, shade structure, basketball court and garden areas.
The primary school is located separately from the secondary campus.
Approximately 12–20 students are enrolled.
Kaltukatjara Secondary
Practical learning and pathway programs.
Kaltukatjara Secondary Campus (KSC) has also been mostly dormant over the past two years, with secondary-aged students attending the Primary School Campus.
The campus includes a commercial kitchen, two classrooms, an office and outdoor common areas. In 2025 the campus was reactivated and is currently hosting Garden and Nutrition and Driver Education and Training programs.
Currently six students are enrolled.
