Governance
Community led Governance
Led by community, with strong accountability.
Nyangatjatjara Aboriginal Corporation (NAC), a body registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006, is responsible for managing the affairs of the College.
The Board consists of two representatives from each of the three communities, elected by registered NAC community members. Directors are elected for a two-year term. In addition, two independent Directors have been appointed — one with expertise in education and one with financial expertise.
NAC is accountable to the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC) and provides a fully audited annual report each year.
